                                Of course, one of the first things to cross off the list of wedding to-do’s was finding the perfect gown for the day. “I thought I would wear a high-neck, long-sleeve lace gown, Grace Kelly style.” After trying a few dresses as Bonnie described, she learned Grace Kelly style was not as comfortable as she hoped. Bonnie wanted something more friendly to June weather, so she opted for a gown that could have the sleeves removed. With a change of direction, the attendant pulled a dress reminiscent of Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries. Bonnie agreed to give it a try and the entourage waited expectantly for the reveal. “It was a total classic and clean look but had the drama I was after. It was perfect!” Bonnie chose Jaclyn Jordan’s Eugenia gown in dark ivory with an extended train.
Bonnie and Gabe supported local businesses to help them with the details of their wedding. “We wanted to support local businesses, but also wanted a wedding that was chic and classic. We grew up here and didn’t want a woodsy wedding as this wasn’t our vacation destination, but our home!”
